Here are some of the reponses:
It's a disgrace that we have a state attorney
publicly side with a six-time convicted felon who should have been in
prison at the time he was attempting to commit a robbery.

To say that this law restricts prosecutors from
pursuing homicides is completely false. This law protects honest people
who had the courage to defend their lives and the lives of others from
someone seeking to do them harm. There is a stark difference. This law
needs to be replicated in every state.

The deadly force law should have been enacted many years ago because the criminals have always had the advantage.
