Welcome to my blog An Inconvenient
Republican, obviously the idea for the name of my blog was taken from
Al Gore's movie An Inconvenient Truth.
I'm an 20 year old
African American male, I live in the state of Florida in the people's
republic of Gainesville, FL. I was born in Cordele, Georgia on May
10, 1986. I've been raised in Gainesville, FL almost all my life by
my father. I became a Republican once I started High School, My
History teacher in the 9th grade is the one who really got me
interested in the republican party.
I'm an Inconvenient
Republican for Democrats because they claim that the republican party
is full of nothing but rich white (sometimes racist) Christians who
only care about cutting taxes and their right to bear arms and this
is simply not true, i'm living proof of it.
There are times
when I disagree with the republican party, and there are times when I agree with them. I consider myself an issue republican, I
care about the issues that will effect my life in the present and in
the future. I favor social security reform (the Ryan-Sununu one),
lower taxes, smaller government, and health saving accounts among
other things. I'm a big supporter of the ownership society*.
My
interests are music, politics, business, and technology. I plan to
cover politics on the national, state and sometimes local level.
I look forward to sharing my thoughts, ideas and views with
you and I hope you do the same by posting a comment to my
posts.
